Leather Belt Making Class

Come join designer & founder of Minnie + George, L.A. Caldwell, as she provides guided and hands-on instruction on how to make your own leather belt using traditional leather-working techniques.

In this 1.5 hr class, you'll learn:

  • How to cut and prep leather.

  • How to use the basic tools needed to practice traditional leather-working.

  • How to apply hardware and protective finishes.

  • How to bevel and burnish leather

All needed supplies, hardware, and leather are provided for the class. Students have the choice between natural veg tanned leather, saddle brown, dark brown, or black leather belting, and between nickel or brass hardware.
